| Abstract |
A small group of Clathromangelia Monterosato, 1884 species is composed by C. loiselieri Oberling, 1970 and C. strigilata Pallary, 1904. They share an elongated, turreted outline of the shell, almost entirely light coloured in colour, and a more delicate sculpture. They have been studied in modern times and their taxonomical position seems to be stabilized. A third species, similar in general outline and colour of the shell to the preceding species, is here distinguished on the basis of adult shell and protoconch morphology and described as new. |
