Abstract
The differentiation of the gonoducts Pisidia longicornis (Linnaeus) and Palaemonetes varians (Leach) does not proceed exactly in the same way, nevertheless the two species exhibit important similarities. The characteristics of the sexual organogenesis of both species differ markedly from what is already known in other brachyuran and astacuran decapods.
