Abstract
Description of basic biological patterns (growth, size-age composition, rate of sexual maturity, fecundity) for walleye pollock in Primorye. The high mortality of eggs at embryogenesis and the high mortality of specimens with low rate of growth have been note. The role of different spawning grounds for reproduction is analysed and the peculiarity of seasonal pollock depth distribution is discussed. Dynamics of stocks in 1980-1996 is described on the base of ichthyoplankton and trawl surveys data.
