| Abstract |
A systematical list of Mollusca (land and freshwater, as well as marine species) has been compiled, mainly from literature sources. Of the Recent fauna not only the autochtonous species have been included, but also those species that have been transported from elsewhere, be it in a natural way or by human activities. In the fossil list only those species are cited that are known from the beaches (washed ashore) or that have been dredged from the estuaries or the Dutch Wadden Shallows for various industrial purposes. |
