Abstract
A new species of Amphidromus Albers, 1850 (subgenus Syndromus Pilsbry, 1900) is described from Quang Nam Province, Vietnam and compared with its closest congeners Amphidromus quadrasi forma everetti Fulton, 1896, Amphidromus pictus concinnus Fulton, 1896, Amphidromus quadrasi forma aborlanensis Bartsch, 1946 and Amphidromus stungtrengensis Thach & Huber, 2018. This newly described species Amphidromus (Syndromus) verbinneni is new to science and easy to separate from other species belonging to this genus by means of conchological differences.
