Abstract

The genus name Brachyhorstia Ceccolini et Cianferoni, nom. nov., is proposed to replace the genus name of the hemichordate Horstia Deland, Cameron, Rao, Ritter et Bullock, 2010, preoccupied by the mite genus Horstia Oudemans, 1905. The following new combination is also established: Brachyhorstia kincaidi (Deland, Cameron, Rao, Ritter et Bullock, 2010), comb. nov.
