Abstract
A new species of Conidae from the Philippines is here described. Conus guidopoppei n. sp. from Palawan Island is compared with its closest relatives: Conus dictator Melvill, 1898 and Conus lizarum Raybaudi & Da Motta, 1992: protoconch characters, early teleoconch sculpture, as well as shell morphometry and color pattern clearly set apart Conus guidopoppei n. sp. as a distinct species, previously unknown.
