Abstract
Can you contribute towards clean water, a healthy ocean and happy children? The first book in the series on the water cycle was awarded the annual children's book award by the WWF in 2006, given by His Majesty the King of Sweden. In this independent follow-up called “Water for life - A Scandinavian book for youth on water, peace and a possible future” we join our guide, Gutta the droplet, on another amazing journey through the water cycle. This journey takes us across Norway's largest lake, Mjøsa. “Water for life” is first and foremost a book for young people, but is suitable for children and adults as well. Quite simply, a book for everyone. It can be read with other family members or in school, as it is an excellent basis for discussions on the principal moral issue of our time: our responsibility for future generations.
