Abstract
Brewery activated sludge single-cell protein (BSCP) was incorporated in high quality feeds for Clarias gariepinus fingerlings at levels of 4-22%. BSCP incorporation was found to have a positive effect on the growth performance up to levels of 22%. The optimum concentration of BSCP in feeds for Clarias gariepinus was 14%. The problems associated with the use of activated sludge are discussed.
