Abstract
The two cold winters of 1995-1996 and 1996-1997 seriously affected some ‘southern’, species. But in the summer of 1998 most of them were recorded again. This was the case for Portumnus latipes, Necora puber, Nassarius reticulatus and Donax vittatus. It seems that only the southern swimming crab Liocarcinus vernalis has not been seen again on the Belgian Coast.
