Abstract
Thirteen species of the order Macrostomida are living in the eulittoral beach in front of the Litoralstation List. This treatise deals with 9 species; three of them are new to science. From the genus Microstomum, the species Microstomum papillosum Graff, 1882 and Microstomum. jenseni Riedel, 1932 are revised. Furthermore this genus is enriched by the new species M. spiculifer nov. spec. Bradynectes sterreri Rieger, 1971 is recorded for the first time from the German North Sea Coast. The animals from the island of Sylt differ by little, constant features from the hitherto existing forms of the species. Myozona purpurea nov. spec, is beside Myozona stylifera Ax, 1956 the second species of the genus Myozona Marcus, 1949 from the North Sea. Antromacrostomum armatum nov. gen. nov. spec, is a new genus with an extreme simple construction of the male genital organ. In conformity with ecological aspects, the following groups of the species living in the medium wave-beaten (,,mittel-lotischen") beach in front of the Litoralstation are formed: a. Inhabitants of sandy beach slopes: Myozona purpurea, Antromacrostomum armatum. b. Inhabitants of sandy beach slopes and wadden areas: Microstomum papillosum, Microstomum spiculifer. c. Inhabitants of wadden areas: Microstomum jenseni, Bradynectes sterreri, Haplopharynx rostratus. In the anterior part of wadden areas were observed sporadically: Macrostomum pusillum, Myozona stylifera.
