Abstract
    Eclectofusus gen. nov. (Buccinidae) is described to accomodate Pararetifusus dedonderi Fraussen & Hadom, 2001. The new genus is compared with Pararetifusus Kosuge, 1967 and Americominella Klappenbach & Ureta, 1972.
