Abstract | Microplastic particles from laundry wastewater have been encountered into the marine environment. MERMAIDS project has demonstrated evidence on microplastic fibers release in laundry processes, to select and study different types of commercial textile auxiliaries and detergent additives with potential to reduce the fibre breakage and avoid the loss of microfibres during laundry. |
