Abstract
The suprabenthic fauna was sampled with a modified Mace-GIROQ suprabenthic sledge. 38 hauls were collected in two series of hourly sampling. Species composition of the fauna, swimming activities and diurnal vertical migrations of the main species were studied. A total of 46 crustacean species were collected. Mysids and cumaceans were the most abundant species of the fauna. All principal species of the fauna performed a nocturnal vertical migration.
