Abstract | A new species of the genus Arachnidium is described from The Netherlands. The detached distal part of the zooids and their bottle shape are diagnostic of the species. It is recorded from oligo-mesohaline waterways with intensive navigation and it is assumed to have been introduced by shipping. |
