Subtidal benthos of Apulia Citation Terlizzi A. (2001). Subtidal benthos of Apulia. University of Salento, Department of Biological and Environmental Science and Technologies, Laboratory of Zoology and Marine Biology (LZMB), Italy. https://marineinfo.org/id/dataset/1281 Contact: Bevilacqua, Stanislao Availability: Restricted The data are withheld from general circulation and disclosure but access may be obtained on a case-by-case basis through negotiation Notes: Not freely available Description The aim of this study was to map and quantify the spatial variation in subtidal sessile assemblages along a depth gradient, and this at different spatial scales along the south-eastern coast of Apulia, Italy more Data came from study of patterns of distribution of benthic sessile assemlages (SE Apulia). Data were collected starting in May 2000. Sampling was carried out in 4 random locations along the SE Apulian rocky coast ( >3 km apart one each other). At each location, 3 sites (separated by 100s m) were randomly selected. At each of the sites, sessile assemblages at three depths (5m, 15m, 25m) were sampled with 10 replicates (photographic).Sampling was replicated in four random times (May and June 2000; February and July 2001).
