Description
Available data from the experiment in which sediment was injected with 13C-glucose and 15N-ammonium. Experiment was conducted 1) in situ, 2) sediment cores and 3) slurry bottles more

13C-glucose and 15N-ammonium was injected in three ways:
1) in situ sediments, 4 week incubation
2) retrieved sediment cores, 4 week incubation
3) slurry bottles, one year incubation
The different treatments were sampled for:
  • 13C/15N incorporation in POM
  • 13C incorporation in PLFA
  • 13C incorporation in FA
  • 13C incorporation in sugars
  • 13C/15N incorporation in Hydrolyzable amino acids
  • 13C/15N incorporation in meio- and macrofauna
  • pigment composition
  • three macrofaunal species were analyzed for 13C/15N in FA and HAAs
