BIOPEARL II, CAML Cruise Citation Linse et al. 2008 BIOPEARL II expedition/ JR 179. https://marineinfo.org/id/dataset/2180 Contact: Griffiths, Huw Description Benthic collection data arising from the British Antarctic Survey cruise JR179 to the southern Bellingshausen and Amundsen Seas. Biological samples were taken by Agassiz trawl and epibenthic sledge (Brandt & Barthel 1995/Brenke 2005 type). Samples range from 500 to 2500m and at 4 locations vertical transects sampling at 500, 1000 and 1500m were taken.
