Specific diversity data of macrobenthic communities in the "Pierre Noire" study site in the English Channel from 1977 on Citation Houbin C, Thiebaut E, Hoebeke M (2019): Specific diversity data of macrobenthic communities in the "Pierre Noire" study site in the English Channel from 1977 on https://doi.org/10.21411/kfms-pq29 Contact: Simon, Nathalie Availability: This dataset is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Description Monitoring of species richness, abundances of all macrobenthic species, biomass, sediment grain size, temperature and salinity more The experiment was designed to study long-term changes in community structure in response to global change (climatic change) and local anthropogenis pressures (e.g. eutrophication). Fine sand macrobenthic communities are monitored two to five times a year at the "Pierre Noire" site. The different parameters wich are measured are (1) total and specific abundances, (2) specific richness Scope Themes: Biology > Benthos Keywords: Marine/Coastal, Benthos, Data, Long-term monitoring, Marine Genomics, ANE, France, Brittany, Morlaix Bay, EurOBIS calculated BBOX, Crustacea, Echinodermata, Mollusca, Polychaeta Geographical coverage ANE, France, Brittany, Morlaix Bay [Marine Regions] EurOBIS calculated BBOX Stations Bounding Box Coordinates: MinLong: -3,8806; MinLat: 48,8028 - MaxLong: -3,8806; MaxLat: 48,8028 [WGS84] Temporal coverage From 1977 on [In Progress] Twice a year Parameters Contributors Sorbonne Université; Sorbonne Université/CNRS, Station Biologique de Roscoff (SBR), more, data owner, researcher, data creator Dataset status: In Progress Data type: Data Data origin: Monitoring: field survey Metadatarecord created: 2010-01-04 Information last updated: 2019-08-01 |
