Faculteit Wetenschappen: Gent. 147, bijlage 54 pp. more This dataset gives an overview of plankton (phyto-and zooplankton) as well as metazoan and protozoan species sampled at 3 places in the harbour of Ostend. Surface samples using a phytoplanktonnet were taken monthly between January and September 1965. This study mainly focused on the group Crustacea, of which Copepoda are by far the most important group. A number of physico-chemical factors such as salinity, oxygen, pH, temperature were measured.
