Description
Aerial surveys were conducted on predetermined tracklines on monthly intervals across the year. All marine mammal sightings were closed on to collect high resolution digital images used to determine species ID in the Lab and to estimate abundance. more

The Navy monitoring program. The original survey data are separated into two datasets, from left-side and right-side observers upon provider's request. This dataset is from the left side sighting data. The left side sighting data are available on OBIS-SEAMAP in the AFTT JAX Aerial Survey -Left side- 2012-2013 dataset.
