SWFSC Marine Mammal Survey, STAR-LITE 2007, Cruise 1634 Availability:  This dataset is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.Description The primary objective of the Stenella Abundance Research Line Transect and Ecosystem (STAR-LITE) cruise was to investigate spatial and temporal variability and line-transect methodologies in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean. The project used a multidisciplinary approach. This survey was conducted by the NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center aboard NOAA ship McArthur II for a combined total of approximately 9,500 kilometers surveyed from late August to late November 2007.
