Description
Jacques Whitford Environment Limited (now Stantec), on behalf of Encana Corporation, conducted a deep water benthic survey of former Exploration Licence 2414, referred to as Stonehouse. The survey was conducted on the 21 to 23 of August and 14 to 15 of September 2002. The Stonehouse area encompassed an area of 1,489 km2 and was located approximately 464 km from the port of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Water depths within the area ranged from approximately 500 to 3,200m. This dataset contains species distribution records collected using 0.1 m2 Van Veen grab sampler. Additional information collected as part of the survey is available in the original report.
