ICOS: Carbon Observations for the Belgian Part Of the North Sea. [ICOS: Carbon Observations for the Belgian Part Of the North Sea.] Citation Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), Belgium (2015): ICOS Carbon observations for the Belgian Part of the North Sea. https://marineinfo.org/id/dataset/5126 Contact: Gkritzalis, Thanos Availability: The data can be made available upon request, please use contact information. Description ICOS is a European monitoring network consisting of a large number of observation systems for measuring greenhouse gasses. The observation systems are spread across Europe and consist of three major components: an atmospheric component with high measurement towers, an ecosystem component with measurement towers that observe fluxes and a marine component with observation systems on ships and buoys.VLIZ and the University of Liège (Unit of Biosystem Physics) take care of the marine component in Belgium. All ICOS data will be made available on the ICOS Carbon portal. The validated data for the Belgian Part of the North Sea is for now available upon request.More information on QC standards according to ICOS are described on the thematic portal http://www.icos-otc.eu/.
