Description
The project is an initiative of Ken Griffin, Secretary of Mackay and District Turtle Watch Association. It is a collaboration between Mackay & District Turtle Watch Assoc. and James Cook University to understand the behaviour of flatback turtles in Central Queensland. The four turtles were named by children of local schools. more

The project was generously funded by The Mackay Regional Council and is supported by the volunteers of Mackay & District Turtle Watch Association and students of James Cook University.
