Distribution data for Decapoda in the European Atlantic and the entire Mediterranean. The regions are according to the International Bureau of Hydrography (IBH) in Paris, that were published a while ago. Subdivisions were made where the IBH-area seemed too large. These IBH areas are also used internationally as the limits for maritime charts. The borders are thus exactly defined by latitude-longitude.
