Description
Stable carbon isotope data of leaves, sediment and organisms sampled in Gazi Bay (Kenya). The data were digitized by VLIZ from the original report: Polk, P.; Okemwa, E. N. (1993). Dynamics and assessment of Kenyan mangrove ecosystems n° TS2-0240-C (GDF): final report (April 1993). Vrije Universiteit Brussel: Brussel. 244 pp. more

Different organisms and sediments were collected in the mangrove ecosystem of Gazi Bay. Whole organisms or their fleshy parts, such as leaves of plants and muscle tissues of animals were used. They were dried and ground into fine powder before being analysed by mass spectrometry.
