The data is on demersal chondrichthyes and osteichthyes. Data used was from multiple research vessels form various agencies and historical archives, The vessels included Soela, Courageous, Kapala, Zeehan, Challenger, Mary Belle, Bluefin, Petuna Endeavour, Margaret Philippa, Dannevig and Endeavour.
