Description
This dataset includes the long-term monitoring measurements of phytoplankton abundance (Cells/L) in the Bilbao estuary (43° 35'-43° 25' N; 2° 90'- 3° 10 W)) since 2000. The samples are collected directly from the water surface and fixed until 2011 with glutaraldehyde and with acidic lugol from them on. Later taxonomically identified using the Utermöhl method. The dataset also includes environmental variables.
