Coastal Cabo Frio Upwelling Plankton community analyzed with FlowCam [PELD RECA Enseada] Citation Lohengrin, F.; Moura, L.; Guilherme, C.; Reis, C.; Matos, T.; Figueredo, B.; Coutinho, R.; Institute of Sea Studies Admiral Paulo Moreira (IEAPM), Brazilian Navy; Department of Marine Biotechnology, Brazil (2020). Coastal Cabo Frio Upwelling Plankton community analyzed with FlowCam. https://marineinfo.org/id/dataset/8058 Contact: Fernandes, Lohengrin Availability: This dataset is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Description Plankton assemblages were surveyed using standard nets (WP2) in a fixed station in the Cabo Frio upwelling region (Brazil). Plankton samples were taken with 100um at sub-surface (~1 meter) and analyzed with flowcam. The parameters measured were: Temperature, Salinity, Depth, Extracted Chl-a, Dissolved Oxygen, Zooplankton taxonomy, Phytoplankton abundance, Femtoplankton, Picoplankton abundance. The sampling devices used were WP2 nets and Niskin bottles. moreThis project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 862428 (MISSION ATLANTIC).
