| Expertise> | Dr Pat Hutchings, Senior Fellow at Australian Museum, Sydney. She has published extensively on the systematics of the Australian polychaete fauna, especially the terebellids but also on other groups elsewhere in the world. Working with many polychaete colleagues from around the world she has been trying to resolve species complexes as well as correcting species identifications, which have been based on using old and inappropriate literature. It is critical that records on WoRMS are the most upto date including distributions records Pat is also an active editor of Zootaxa and is thus aware of the recent polychaete literature. | |
