My main interest is echinoderms, focusing on brittle stars (Ophiuroidea). My research integrates living and extinct taxa, based on morphological studies. I joined WoRMS as an editor in 2007, because I wanted to contribute to this invaluable resource. I strive to keep it as up-to-date as possible, in collaboration with Tim O'Hara of the Museum Victoria in Melbourne and Ben Thuy of the Natural History Museum in Luxemburg.
