Abstract
    Three new galatheids (Munida parca, M. pygmaea and Paramunida aliéna) are described and illustrated from specimens collected during recent cruises carried out off New Caledonia. The occurrence of Munida heteracantha Ortmann, 1892 and M. gilii Macpherson, 1993 is also reported for the first time in the area.
