Abstract
The fitting to the von Bertalanffy growth model was researched on three Prosobranch species inhabiting Basque Coast (N. Spain): Rissoa parva, Barleeia unifasciata and Bittium reticulatum. The results are acceptable for R. parva , but for the other species the L infinity values differ of biological data, sometimes being negatives. It is purposed the next equation L sub(t) = a + bt + ct super(2), as a growth model for these species. The growth retard is related to reproduction and winter influence, showing each species different strategies.
