Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium. https://marineinfo.org/doc/dataset/8769 Contact: Availability: ![]() Description At 10/10/2024, after a day with relatively high rainfall, a terrein visit at the Demer river near the weir Grote Steunbeer was carried out by Flanders Hydraulics. During this terrain visit also the current velocity in the Demer river 200 m downstream of the weir was measured. This measurement was carried out to have an insight in the discharge in the Demer downstream of the weir. Around 10/10/2024 09:30 4 transects were sailed using the Riversurveyor ADCP. The dataset considers the outputfile of the ADCP-measurement and contains mean velocity for each sailed transect, the calculated discharge for each transect and the mean discharge over the four measured transects. Current velocity and discharge measured at the river Demer 200 m downstream of the weir Grote Steunbeer. Four transects were sail around 10/10/2024 09:30 using the River surveyor ADCP. The dataset considers the output file of the ADCP-measurement and contains mean velocity for each sailed transect, the calculated discharge for each transect and the mean discharge over the four measured transects.
