Description

The migration of Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) smolt from the River Namsen (Norway) to the coast was monitored in 2022 and 2023 using acoustic telemetry, with listening stations placed both in the river and in the fjord all the way to the outer coast. A total of 389 salmon smolt were tagged over the two years.
