Abstract
The occurrence of the non-native shrimp Penaeus hathor is documented for the first time from Rhodes, Greece, through several samples collected in 2014 and a further record in 2016. Several years after the initial report of this penaeid from Israel in 1999, the species seems to be spreading in the eastern Mediterranean. Selected morphometrics, the main distinguishing features of the species and its distribution are presented.
