The survey carried out on the chief executives of the communes in France and in Belgium, which is the subject of this Cahier, is a continuation of the one carried out by this same office on "major players".These two surveys are in pursuit of the same aim: to identify more closely perceptions, expectations, curbs, trends regarding the current "metropolisation" process.This second survey nog only confirms the information collected during the first, but also gives a more acute perception of the elements identified.In particular, it helps to differentiate the curbs and the expectations according to the location and the size of the communes, and to identify worthwhile, consensual themes for future actions to be undertaken. |
