Abstract
Some spp of Gastrotricha have been found along the Tuscan coast between Leghorn and Pisa: 7 of these spp are described in the present paper. Tetranchyroderma polypodium sp.n. is characterized by the presence of pentancres and of sixty adhesive tubules on each side of the body. Paraturbanella pallida sp.n. is distinguishable from the other spp of the genus mainly for the number of adhesive tubules which are 11 on ventral organs and 14-16 on each caudal lobe. The taxonomic position of one sp of the subterranea group of the genus Xenotrichula is discussed. New morphological details and drawings are given for Tetranchyroderma papii Gerlach, Diplodasys minor Remane, Aspidiophorus mediterraneus Remane and Polymerurus tesselatus Renaud-Mornant.
