Abstract
Two new spp of the genus Pseudodistoma are described, P. crucigaster from a Posidon bed at 'Racou' near Banyuls-sur-Mer and P. saxicavum from Bermudan islands. The total number of spp in this gen is now 16. The distribution of these animals, already wide-spread, is enlarged by the discovery of P. saxicavum, which is the first sp recorded along the east coast of America. A distribution map of the genus is given, which shows that the spp, until now, were known only from temperate climatic zones.
