From the sampled biota, density, diversity, population composition (sex and developmental stage) and fecundity were determined. Mysid shrimp populations were sampled with a hyperbenthic sledge. Sampling was done quantitatively in the Scheldt and in the coastal zone. In the harbours the mysids were sampled qualitatively.
