The epibenthic community was sampled by means of a beam trawl. Vertebrates were sampled quantitalively, whereas invertebrates were sampled qualitatively (except for shrimps, which were also sampled quantitalively). The endobenthic community was sampled both quantitatively and qualitatively by means of a Van Veen grab.
