Mafcons: Managing Fisheries to conserve ground fish and benthic invertebrates species diversity: infauna database Citation Marine Biology Section, Ugent -Belgium. Macrobenthos of the North Sea 2003-2004. part of Mafcons project. http://www.vliz.be/imis/imis.php?module=dataset&dasid=2867. accessed on [..date of extraction..]. https://marineinfo.org/id/dataset/2867 Availability: Unknown The correct value is not known to and not computable by the creator of this information. However a correct value probably exists Notes: Contact data owner for use. Description The database was set up to store Infauna samples from North Sea ICES rectangles. Sampling was executed on the BTS surveys in august 03 and 04. At the same time 2m and 8 m Beam trawl tracks and CTD were taken. Infaunal samples for Dutch partners where analysed by the Marine Biology Section, Ugent. The dataset also includes a trait based fuzzy coding categorisation on genus level.
