| Abstract: | | The Chief Scientist is appointed by the Minister of Health to counsel the Minister on matters concerning medical research. Hence the Office of the Chief Scientist (CSO) is an important junction point for all issues concerning medical research in Israel and its advancement. The main mission of the CSO is to administer the Chief Scientist’s Research Fund, a key source for funding of medical research in Israel. |
