| Abstract: | The Centre d'Etudes Maritimes Et Fluviales (CETMEF) is a national technical institute of the French
Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Planning, Tourism and Sea, specialised in coastal and river
domains.
CETMEF’s activities consist on the one hand in developing techniques, methods, data and software,
within and without France, and on the other hand in leading studies and research in its fields of
competence. The Institute has approximately 270 employees located in 5 sites in France, including
CETMEF’s headquarters in Compiègne.
CETMEF combines national competencies in such engineering fields as hydraulics, structures,
geotechnics, telecommunications, navigation safety, environment and computer science. |
