Abstract
Objectives of the project:

Collection of troposferic aerosol samples representative for a large area. Determination of the chemical composition of the aerosols with bulk and with individual particle analysis techniques.
Research of the multi-component datasets with receptor- and transportmodels to determine the sources, the source processes and the source areas of the troposferic particles, and estimate the relative importance of antropogenic and natural contributions to the atmospheric levels of the acidifying components, heavy metals and soot carbon.
