Abstract

Rapport WL2017R00_057_5 heeft aangetoond dat er problemen zijn met de afleiding van open water data van roeren in de sleeptank. Bijkomend onderzoek is nodig als apart project.

The first part of this research will focus on validation of the numerical models.
The second part of the research focuses on executing open-water rudder tests for a small set of relevant rudders.
In a third part, the influence of the lateral distance on the performance of two side-by-side rudders is evaluated.

Bijkomend wordt ook onderzoek verricht naar de implementatie van een stuurmachine model (modellering van het roerkoppel)
