Abstract
    On several occasions specimens of Portumnus latipes (Pennant, 1777) carrying the parasitic rhizocephalan Sacculina Carcini Thompson, 1836 were found on the Belgian east coast. This association is seldom seen. It was recorded about 100 years ago from the Atlantic coast of France.
