Abstract
This note deals with some interesting faunistic records on the eastern jetty of the harbour of Zeebrugge. For the sponge Haliclona xena this is the first record outside the type-locality (Eastern Scheldt. The Netherlands). The primitive littoral insect Petrobius maritimus probably is new to the Belgian fauna too. The tunicate Styela clava and the prosobranch mollusc Patella vulgata had been seen before, although the latter has decreased dramatically compared to the data from the seventies.
