Abstract | This is the second paper in a series aiming at describing and illustrating the Pliocene fauna of Belgium. In the first part, the stratigraphy and a number of localities were discussed. In the present paper, the Annelida (worms), Anthozoa (corals, hydrozoans) and Crustacea (mud shrimp, crabs, lobsters, barnacles) of the Pliocene in Belgium are listed and illustrated. Ostracods abound in some parts of the Belgian Pliocene, but they are not treated here yet by lack of a recent systematic revision. |
